DOWNTOWN WOODLAND MUSIC FESTIVAL TICKETS GOING FAST!
VIP tickets to the Downtown Woodland Music Festival are almost gone! So if you haven’t purchased your tickets yet, don’t wait! This family-friendly event on Sunday, June 28th from noon to 6 pm at Freeman Park in Downtown Woodland, at 1001 Main Street, will be the not-to-be-missed, premier event of the summer!
Three popular local bands will provide a diverse blend of music, setting the stage for an enjoyable afternoon in the park. The bands performing are Grooveline (R&B, Funk, and Soul Classics), Steel Shot (Authentic Classic Rock), and Conjunto Liberacion (Salsa and Latin Jazz).
General admission tickets are $15. VIP tickets include 2 drink tickets, VIP seating and bar, separate restrooms, and a meet and greet with the bands, and are $30. Tickets are available at the Woodland Chamber of Commerce and Yolo Board of REALTORS® offices and at www.BrownPaperTickets.com.
Children under 10 years of age are free, and attendees are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets. The array of local food offerings will include tacos, pizza, ice cream sandwiches, and more. Beer, wine and other refreshments will also be available for purchase. Outside food and drinks are prohibited. Ample parking will be available at the former Hoblit lot on Main Street.
The afternoon will also feature a raffle drawing, with a grand prize of a weekend getaway. Other prizes include tickets to the Ashland Shakespeare Festival and a cruiser bicycle. Raffle tickets are $5 each, and the winner need not be present to win. Adding excitement to the event will be a drawing for a “lottery ticket lei” – a lei fashioned out of lottery tickets and cash. One lucky attendee could be a millionaire lottery winner!
